Executive Board Meeting

July 19, 2006

Only agenda topic was the review of draft bylaws and a discussion about dues. 

Below are the two major decisions made about things to add to bylaws.  In addition, there are

some other small editing changes noted by the group.

The categories and dues of the Friends of the GTCC Library are:

Pal $5.00

Friend $25.00

Advocate $50

Champion $125

A bylaws change to Article III (Membership) is needed as follows:

“A dues structure will be established by the Board and taken to the membership for approval.  Membership dues

may be paid in cash or gifts-in-kind the value of which may be determined bythe board.

The GTCC Foundation will be the recipient and custodian of all dues and gifts.”

Beverley Gass will revise bylaws to include the above and send back to Board members.
